About this book
The Cetus GPS Book contains extensive information about using Cetus GPS for GPS navigation, tracking and field data collection. The information includes detailed descriptions of how Cetus GPS works and precision specifications for the displayed and saved data.
In order to ease the handling of the Cetus GPS documentation it is now being published in HTML format. Compared to the previously used Adobe Acrobat PDF format, the HTML format has some advantages as it gives you different viewing options:
The average user of Cetus GPS will have a reasonable amount of GPS experience and technical knowledge. Therefore in each section of this book the presentation of basic information is accompanied by technical notes and descriptions.
There are huge advantages of including all available information, but this might seem a bit overwhelming to the novice user. Please bear in mind that you will probably be able to use Cetus GPS without reading a single line of this book. The information here is provided to help you get the most out of Cetus GPS.
If you discover a bug in the current version of Cetus GPS, please support the development by submitting an error report.
This book is published in English for obvious reasons. English is not my native language, however, and I do have a lot to learn regarding the writing of English texts.
